Dr. Daphne Benedit is a general and cosmetic dentist originally from Honduras. In 2013, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and her career continued with the successful completion of an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Columbia University and a General Practice Residency with New York Medical College. She loves practicing dentistry because of the combination of healthcare, artistry, and meeting new personalities every day. Dr. Benedit’s patients appreciate her kind, caring, professional manner, and her passion for health and beauty when it comes to smile makeovers. She is an esteemed member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Fun fact: she used to do ballet and still loves it. Outside the office Dr. Benedit enjoys fitness activities, wine tasting, watching tennis matches and spending quality time with her family.

Dr. Chantal Tavarez Monegro is a general dentist from Santiago, Dominican Republic. She graduated from Pontificia Universitaria Catolica Madre y Maestros in 2011 and received post-doctoral training at Columbia University/Presbyterian Hospital in 2018. Dr. Tavarez's areas of practice include general dentistry, and she is a member of ADA and AAE. She will soon volunteer and serve on the board of 'Somos Amigos' Medical Mission. Dr. Tavarez chose dentistry because of her childhood experiences in the dental chair, and her favorite aspect of being a dentist is showing patients that dentistry is not scary and helping them achieve their best smile. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. Patients describe her as tender, funny, gentle, honest, trustworthy, professional, and with "angel's hands".

Dr. Leon James DDS, MBA specializes in total mouth rehabilitation, implants, cosmetics, and sedation dentistry. Dr. James received his doctorate of dental surgery from the prestigious Howard University College of Dentistry in 2006, followed by an extensive general residency program at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. In 2004, Dr. James became a member of the National Health Service corp, dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare in underserved communities. Dr. James’ passion for academic excellence meets his extraordinary level of care and service to his patients. He is a certified Modo Dental implant specialist.  

Dr. Andrew Breiman graduated from NYU Dental School in 1975 and completed several years of additional advanced surgical training including oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Bronx Municipal Hospital, and in anesthesiology at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He has held an associate professor of surgery position at Columbia University since 1986. An esteemed and active member of the dental community, his is the past president of both the Yonkers Dental Society and the NY State Society of Dental Anesthesia. His major fields of expertise include dental implants and bone grafting, and mentoring other dental professionals to unlock their hidden excellence. Dr. Breiman is a certified Modo Dental Implant Specialist.  

Dr. Adam Arnoldt is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a passion for helping others. A New Yorker through and through, Dr. Arnoldt was born in Long Island, attended SUNY Buffalo for Dental School, and completed his Postdoctoral training at Westchester Medical Center and NY Medical College. His kind and soft spoken chairside manner can turn the most complex procedures into an easy and comfortable experience. When not performing surgery, Dr. Arnoldt enjoys spending time with his family, golf, and any other outdoor activities. Dr. Arnoldt is a certified Modo Dental Implant Specialist. 

Dr Ali Hedayati has been perfecting smiles for almost 40 years. Dr. Hedayati specializes in periodontics, implant dentistry, and oral surgery. He is a polyglot (fluent speaker of English, French, and Persian) and a natural people person, with a comfortable, human to human approach to dentistry. He completed 3 additional years of specialized training following dental school which makes him an expert in gum health, removing, and replacing missing teeth. When not repairing smiles, his favorite hobbies include skiing, swimming, and hiking. Dr. Hedayati is a certified Modo Dental Implant Specialist.  

An Israeli-born dentist, Dr. Shay Markovitch began his career in general and cosmetic dentistry over 20 years ago. He continued his advanced training in the United States at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, as well as countless continuing education courses on the latest advancements in modern dentistry. Dr. Markovitch is an implant restoration specialist, specializing in the aesthetic portion of the implant after surgery. Always smiling and happy, Dr. Markovitch believes that a smile is the window to the soul, and has a passion for preventing disease and optimizing the overall wellness of his patients. He is a cofounder of Modo Dental Implants, and a proud husband and father to three children.
